Hello friend! Happy Thanksgiving to you! For today’s post, I am sharing what I made as my first entry for the Sewing the Trends, 2024 Holiday Edition challenge that is being hosted by Tee of Crumpets Tee and Sewing.
This challenge is a sewing challenge that begins on December 1 – 31st, and the challenge team have been making announcements for this and that began on November 20th and will continue through the 30th, of November.  The Challenge team includes Tee of Crumpetstee, myself Martika of Martikajmakes, Sara of Gnottygnome, Kris of Unsewcial, Karon of Cookeka, and Natieda of sewnaturaldane.
The purpose is to make a garment of your choice for the holidays by finding inspiration through the current fashion trends, and able on share it on social media, specifically Instagram!  Garments must be made between December 1st – 31st, and if you would like more details, please click here to watch the full video!!

So for today’s look, I decided to make OUTERWEAR, and that is a VEST!  Not only did I make a vest, but I made it in faux fur, and although hats does not count, it is certainly very complimentary to the vest!  Below you will find photos, and under the phots, you will find a pattern review for both.
