DIY One Shoulder Crop Top & Shrug! EASY TO SEW! Simplicity 9925

Hello friends!
I’m back and so happy to share more garments that I made for my vacation! My family and I went on a vacation back in July, and I was able to make 14 garments. I will post all garments as I wore them daily until all 14 makes have been posted!

In today’s post, I am sharing a THREE-piece dinner set that I made to make the set come together! This set brings together garment numbers 5, 6 & 7! If you missed garment numbers 1, 2, 3 and 4, please go back to the previous three posts! You can also watch the full detailed video of all garments by clicking here!

If you don’t know, I absolutely love animal print, so when I saw this Liverpool leopard print in the store, I had to pick it up! I absolutely love this set and it made me feel SASSY!! I used Simplicity 9925 to make the half shoulder top AND shrug (you can find that here), and I self drafted my skirt. Both patterns, (top and shrug), are super easy to make! The top only has TWO pattern pieces, and the shrug also only uses TWO pattern pieces as well. For the skirt, I also only cut out two pieces! The front and the back! Very easy breezy! Below you will find photos, and underneath the photos you will find TWO detailed typed pattern reviews. One for the top and one for the pants.

FABRIC Recommendations:  Stretch knits only
Sewing Skill Level: Very Easy and I do agree for the top and the shrug. I don’t believe the pants are beginner friendly.

Notions Needed: Thread and 1/4 inch elastic for the top.
Pattern Sizing: 6 – 24
Size that I Cut: I cut a size 24, but then I had to size down to in between the 20 and 22.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope? Yes, it does.
Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes, they were very easy to follow.
What did you particularly like about the pattern?  I like the chic style of it, the ease of sewing it, that it only has two pattern pieces, that I can dress it up or down, and that it showed a little skin!
What did you particularly dislike about the pattern?  Nothing
