Hello friends and Happy Mother’s Day to all mothers!

Today’s post showcases this lovely dress that I made by using McCall’s 8281!
This dress really surprised me because of how great it turned out and how good it looks on! There are so many features that I love about this dress and how it wears. Some of those features includes the gathers at the waist, the drop waist line, the curve of the waist line, the pockets and the length! I made this dress in collaboration with my beautiful friend, Martika of Martika J. Makes. We both made Youtube videos about our dresses where you can see movement. You can find my video here, and you can find her video here. For my fabric, I used 100% linen that I purchased from Hobby Lobby. This fabric wears really well and it gives the dress structure and great drape as well!
Below the photos, you will find a detailed pattern review! Please let me know what you think! Have a great day!
